Today is the 12th anniversary of the Columbine shootings. There’s no justification for anything that happened, but I hope people can realize how awful bullying can be and how strongly it can affect an individual’s emotions and attitude. It’s still amazing to me how much blame the media and authorities placed on video games, pharmaceuticals, and subversive culture, but turned a blind eye to the rampant athletic favoritism and shrugged off constant harassment.
